Fat Quarter Shop Patchwork Quilt Auctions

The Fat Quarter Shop created the Patchwork Quilt pattern  to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  They exceeded the $10,000 goal and raised over $12,000! Which means Fat Quarter Shop and Moda Fabrics will each be matching the maximum $10,000, for a total of $20,000 on top of all the $5 donations from the pattern.  That is why I love these companies!

Now they have TWO gorgeous Patchwork Quilts for up for auction! The beautiful quilt Kimberly Jolly made for the quilt along and Pat Sloan donated her gorgeous Patchwork quilt, made from her Sunday Drive collection!

Fat Quarter Shop’s quilt is the main quilt featured in the Patchwork Quilt Along.  It is made with Bonnie & Camille Basics from Moda Fabrics, and the back features a lovely 25″ block!  It was quilted gratis by MyLongArm.com in a darling chicken wire design.

Pat’s quilt is made with a mix of her Sunday Drive prints and batiks and was quilted gratis by Cindy and Dennis Dickinson with variegated thread in a dragonfly design.  The back shows off a sweet handwritten label from Pat herself.
